Digital Marketing & Communications Officer

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing & Communications Officer to take the lead on delivering innovative campaigns that grow audiences, strengthen brand presence, and increase sales through creative, data-driven strategies.
This role is ideal for a dynamic digital marketer who understands how to combine creativity with commercial focus. You'll manage online platforms, develop targeted campaigns, and produce engaging content that connects with audiences across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce creative content for social media and digital platforms, including copy, graphics, video and audio.
2. Oversee day-to-day management of social media accounts, ensuring growth, engagement, and consistent brand identity.
3. Deliver and optimise paid and organic campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and YouTube.
4. Manage and update website content (via CMS), ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and optimised for all devices.
5. Implement SEO and SEM strategies to boost online visibility and conversions.
6. Use analytics tools (Google Analytics GA4, Meta Business Suite, etc.) to evaluate performance and report on results.
7. Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and influencers to enhance campaign reach.
8. Provide regular reports on digital activity, sales performance, and audience trends to inform future strategy.
What We're Looking For
9. Proven experience in digital marketing, with strong skills in content creation.
10. Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Craft, or similar.
11. Competence in using creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere Pro, or equivalent).
12. A strong understanding of current social media trends and digital best practice.
13. Commercial awareness with the ability to deliver campaigns that drive measurable results.
14. Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Essential Criteria
15. A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Media, or related discipline plus at least 1 year's experience in digital marketing
OR
16. A Level 4/5 qualification ( HNC, HND, CIM) plus at least 2 years' experience in digital marketing
Desirable
17. Additional digital marketing certifications (Google, Meta, TikTok, HubSpot, SEMrush etc.)
18. Experience with CRM or database systems (training available)
19. Previous experience in cultural, events, or entertainment marketing
