About the Role
We are looking for an adaptable and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Engineer to join our team in Mold.
This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in IT support and develop real, hands-on experience. You will join our busy helpdesk as the first point of contact for clients, answering calls, logging tickets, and providing friendly, professional support while learning a wide range of technologies.
You do not need years of experience, but you should be keen to learn, genuinely interested in IT, networking, and hardware, and confident communicating with clients. Full training will be provided to help you grow your skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming support calls and emails, logging tickets accurately and efficiently.
* Troubleshoot first-line issues with hardware, software, and networking.
* Escalate complex issues to senior engineers while keeping clients informed.
* Assist with installations, configurations, and maintenance tasks.
* Work under pressure to meet service targets and client expectations.
* Contribute to project work and on-site visits as your experience develops.
About You
* IT-related qualification (college, apprenticeship, or degree) or relevant experience.
* Previous experience in an IT or helpdesk environment is beneficial but not essential
* Strong interest in IT, networking, and computer hardware.
* Confident and clear communicator who enjoys helping people.
* Adaptable and able to learn quickly in a busy helpdesk environment.
* Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure.
* Awareness of Microsoft 365 or cloud services is an advantage but not essential.
* Positive attitude and genuine curiosity about technology.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred

Pay: £12.21-£13.33 per hour
