The opening hours of the nursery is 8am - 6pm and you'll be expected to be flexible around those times. This job as a Nursery Practitioner, requires you to be physically fit, work on your own initiative and responsive to the needs of the children.
The ideal Key Carer will have;
1. Level 3 in Early Years Childcare or equivalent (is essential)
2. Excellent working knowledge and understanding of the key principles of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
3. Relevant organisational skills
4. Good understanding of Ofsted Regulatory Requirements
5. An understanding of the Special Educational Needs (SEND) code of practice and the provision of an inclusive environment
6. Knowledge and understanding of Child Protection and the Children's Act 1989
7. Previous experience working in a variety of settings
8. The ability to build positive relationships with both staff and children
