We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Reading this September. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support learning across the school, deliver planned interventions, and confidently lead whole-class sessions when required. The role will involve: Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN teams Helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working in a school setting HLTA status or equivalent experience Strong behaviour management skills A confident and proactive approach Good understanding of the UK curriculum A passion for supporting children’s development At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
