Morson Edge is looking for a Metal Repair Operator
Location: RAF Marham
Contract: 20 months
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 37 hours per week
Rate: £28.11 Umbrella / £21 PAYE

You'll be part of a close-knit, capable crew carrying out metal repair and corrosion control on advanced aircraft structures. The setting is modern, methodical, and well-supported - somewhere you can settle in, sharpen your skills, and stay.
Responsibilities
* Carry out metalworking and corrosion remediation on aircraft structures
* Perform repairs in line with approved technical data and documentation
* Prepare metal and composite surfaces for repair
* Conduct drilling, honing, and reaming activities
* Remove and install fasteners and structural components
* Apply adhesive bonding techniques where required
* Maintain compliance with all maintenance procedures and safety standards
* Support a multi-skilled team within a structured maintenance environment
Requirements
* Experience with manual and pneumatic tooling
* Background in structural repair, including metal and/or composite prep
* Experience with drilling, honing, and reaming processes
* Confident removing/installing a range of fasteners
* Familiarity with adhesive bonding applications
* Able to work from approved maintenance data and instructions
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Qualifications
* Engineering Apprenticeship (Aeronautical preferred) or military equivalent
* Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
* Accepted: City & Guilds, IMI, Edexcel, EAL, SEMTA, ATA (or equivalent)
* Equivalent experience considered with supporting evidence
