Weâre looking for a Sales Support Assistant to join a growing energy services team that supports some of the most recognisable properties across the UK. Youâll be working closely with Client Managers and the New Business team to make sure clients receive a firstâclass service â and youâll be surrounded by people who genuinely care about doing things well.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in the utilities or energy sector whoâs ready to build on their skills, learn new systems, and play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly.
đ What Youâll Be Doing
Youâll become the goâto support for ensuring client data is accurate, upâtoâdate, and ready for reporting. Your dayâtoâday will include:
Utility Billing & Data Management
* Logging, checking and processing utility invoices (paper and electronic)
* Chasing missing bills and ensuring everything is validated and ready for payment
* Keeping internal systems tidy, accurate and wellâorganised
* Monitoring meter reads and AMR data, spotting gaps and resolving issues
Debt & Query Support
* Helping resolve supplier debt and reconciling statements
* Managing queries from suppliers, site teams and internal colleagues
* Handling disconnection notices and updating suppliers on account status
Site & Tenancy Changes
* Managing site closures, final reads and account updates
* Working with the Change of Tenancy team to ensure smooth transitions
Reporting & Recharges
* Preparing accurate client reports ahead of schedule
* Pulling together data for tenant recharges and ensuring everything aligns with agreed methodologies
Youâll also occasionally travel to UK sites for meetings â a great chance to build relationships and see the impact of your work firstâhand.
â What Youâll Bring
Essential
* At least 2 yearsâ experience in an energyârelated role
* Confidence working with data and multiple software systems
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams
* A calm, organised approach â especially when things get busy
* A willingness to learn and a genuine teamâplayer mindset
Desirable
* Experience using platforms like Optima, Asana, Zendesk or similar
* A natural curiosity and a drive to improve processes
* Someone who enjoys problemâsolving and isnât afraid to ask questions
