The role of the Project Engineer Manager – Rooftop Fixing Systems will involve:
* Structural Design Engineer position, dealing with a high end range of manufactured rooftop fixing systems such as; safe access, plant support, service support, screen support and plant decks.
* Producing designs/quotations from pre-defined criteria in line with current process
* Producing handover documents and issuing all relevant information to other departments
* Producing designs/quotations from pre-defined criteria in line with current process
* Ensure that projects and designs are compliant with standards and regulations
* Creating fabrication and installation drawings of large custom works
* Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to £300k
The ideal applicant will be Project Engineer Manager – Rooftop Fixing Systems with:
* Must be a fluent German speaker and have Structural/mechanical/civil Engineering degree level qualification or equivalent
* Sound working experience with Inventor & Solid works software packages
* Would consider a graduate with relevant qualification
* Proactive, initiative, ‘think on your feet’ approach
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
