Your Job
As a customer-facing driver, you will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to our customers in Ashford and the surrounding areas. Your duties will include:
* Efficient & Safe Operation: Ensure the vehicle is operated efficiently and safely.
* Compliance: Adhere to all vehicle and driver legislation.
* Timely Deliveries: Complete and deliver orders to JDP customers on time.
* Customer Service: Represent JDP at the point of delivery, providing excellent customer service and upholding JDP's strong reputation.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum Class C Licence: Essential for operating our vehicles.
* Driver CPC card: Essential.
* Digital Tacho Card: Essential for compliance.
* HIAB qualification: Essential.
* Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of workplace safety.
* Driver Procedures: Detailed knowledge of driving hours rules and regulations.
* Route Planning: Ability to determine the most efficient delivery routes.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Forklift Truck Experience: Advantageous but not essential.
