Why youll love this role Youll play a crucial role in the operational delivery of fibre build activities, ensuring everything runs efficiently. Supervise subcontractors on-site, ensuring high-quality work and efficiency while upholding Bauer Engineering Limiteds values. Oversee subcontractors during high-risk tasks or challenging areas, ensuring compliance with project specifications. Monitor build & civils programmes, ensuring deadlines are met and reporting progress to senior management. Act as the primary on-site contact for project managers and office-based teams, providing real-time updates. Ensure all project documentation, administration, and databases are maintained accurately and on time. Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on the project. Assist with troubleshooting issues such as blockages, testing difficulties, splicing challenges, or other build-related problems. Youll collaborate with multiple stakeholders, from engineers to clients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. What will make you great in this role Industry Know-How & Experience in telecommunications, particularly with fibre builds, is a huge advantage. Permit & Compliance Expertise Youre a pro at multitasking, time management, and keeping projects on schedule. Knowledge of cabling, fibre optics, Splicing, TRR, Blowing and cable management systems is beneficial. You can analyse trends, report on project progress, and use insights to improve workflows. You take initiative, tackle challenges head-on, and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. What were looking for Experience in a coordination role within the telecoms industry. Strong scheduling and planning abilities with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Ensuring the role is fulfilled with flexibility, including working from multiple locations where necessary - a full UK driving licence is required. This role is field-based, meaning youll be hands on, working closely with engineers and build/civils teams to ensure everything stays on track.
