About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Finance & Operations to take ownership of the company's financial strategy while overseeing the smooth running of internal operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in financial control and bank interactions, combined with operational expertise in improving processes, reporting, and systems.
You will act as a key decision-maker, partnering with leadership to drive business performance, manage financial relationships, and ensure operational efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Finance:
Lead the finance function, including financial control, reporting, and forecasting
Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial partners, ensuring compliance and smooth operations
Manage budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Oversee financial audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Operations:
Manage day-to-day business operations and internal office processes
Implement and optimise systems for efficiency and accuracy in operations and reporting
Support production and operational planning through accurate financial and operational data
Drive process improvements and standardisation across teams
Collaborate with leadership to support strategic decision-making
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
Extensive experience working with banks and managing financial relationships
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Operational experience in internal business processes, production support, and system implementation
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Proficient with accounting and business systems; experience implementing new systems is a plus
