Due to expansion and ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Operations Manager – Continuous Improvement & Innovation, Supply Chain to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.
About the Role:
Are you passionate, analytical, and customer-focused? We seek a Senior Operations Manager – Continuous Improvement & Innovation to lead our supply chain transformation, drive growth, improve service, and reduce costs through innovation and process optimisation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a roadmap for continuous improvement and innovation in our supply chain.
* Identify and execute initiatives to enhance cost, speed, and quality.
* Introduce automation and mechanisation to improve service levels and efficiency.
* Collaborate with procurement, logistics, IT, and operations for scalable solutions.
* Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and report to senior leadership.
* Ensure network resilience, flexibility, and scalability.
* Analyze operational performance to identify and resolve issues.
* Build resilience and agility across seasonal cycles.
* Conduct network modelling aligned with strategic goals.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and standardise best practices.
* Develop future network scenarios for strategic decisions.
* Support commercialisation through supply chain capabilities.
Person Specification:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
* 5–10 years in supply chain leadership roles, preferably in FMCG, retail, or omnichannel sectors.
* Strong background in network optimisation, planning, and operations.
Essential Skills/Experience:
* Exceptional organisational and governance skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
* High energy, proactive, collaborative attitude.
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
* Analytical mindset with data-driven problem-solving skills.
* Experience with P&L management.
* Familiarity with planning tools like Data Guru, Supply Chain Guru, SAP APO/IBP.
* Track record of delivering measurable improvements in cost, quality, and speed.
