Overview
Research Administrative Support Assistant. Grade 4 (£26,707 - £28,778 p.a.) We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Project Research Fellows and Principal Investigator.
* Support two research projects: Growing Well Study (pre-school children, diet, growth and dental health) and Evaluation of the Free School Fruit Scheme (KS1 children).
* Recruit study participants and schools; liaise with Children’s Centres and Nurseries in Leeds for the Growing Well Study; liaise with Primary Schools in Yorkshire/Humber and Northeast for the School Fruit and Vegetable project.
* Arrange room bookings for clinics/measurements; support data collection with the team as required.
* Based on campus with some travel to clinics/schools may be required.
* Provide administrative support across goods receipting, car parking, booking meeting rooms, arranging travel, accommodation and catering, processing expenses forms, arranging meetings, maintaining generic email inboxes and mobile phone enquiries, and other general administrative duties.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven track record of providing professional administrative support.
* Ability to deal with a wide range of people with excellent interpersonal, organisational, communication and IT skills.
* Flexible, with attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team; able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines without close supervision.
* Strong day-to-day workload management and time management abilities.
