Hours: 36 per week, term time plus INSET days The Role: Croydon High School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our pastoral and safeguarding team. You will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of our pupils. Key Responsibilities: • Delivering clinically effective nursing and first aid care to pupils and staff. • Supporting vulnerable pupils with tailored care plans and mental health support. • Collaborating with staff, parents, and external agencies on long-term health management. • Playing a key role in safeguarding, PSHE, and health promotion initiatives. • Maintaining medical records and upholding confidentiality in line with safeguarding policies. We are looking for: • An NMC registered nurse (Adult or Children’s Nurse Level 1) with at least 2 years’ post-registration experience and strong clinical, communication, and organisational skills. • A caring, proactive professional with a passion for supporting young people. • Knowledge of child protection procedures, health promotion, and risk assessment. • Experience in school nursing, mental health, sexual health, or paediatrics • First Aid at Work qualification is desirable.
