Kreston Reeves Private Client LLP is an established and highly successful legal team covering Sussex, Kent and London, specialising in Private Client work. We are looking for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join our team in Sussex based in our Horsham office where you will be part of a forward thinking, dynamic and progressive firm which offers plenty of opportunity for career development.
Overview
The Horsham team is the hub of the Legal Services division and is well established with a highly reputable offering to a varied client base including high net worth individuals, business owners and farming families.
Responsibilities
* The ability to manage your own caseload working autonomously and as part of a team
* Good communication skills to enable you to successfully build longstanding working relationships with colleagues and clients
* Attention to detail
* Experience in drafting Wills, Trusts (and related documentation), Powers of Attorney and advising on estate planning and inheritance tax matters
* Able to manage a variety of Probate and Estate Administration cases through to completion
* Commercially aware with experience of networking and business development
* People management skills and an ability to mentor junior colleagues
* Good financial management
Qualifications
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified Legal Executive with not less than 5 years’ PQE
* STEP qualification or part qualification is desirable but not essential
* Willing to travel to London and Kent when required
