Are you interested in supporting us in a role in retail that gets you out and about? Then this may be the role for you! Why not join us as a volunteer as a Van Driver Buddy, based at our Retail Hub in Pampisford, Cambridge?
As a Van Driver Buddy you will:
* Accompany the van driver on his rounds, collecting and dropping off excess stock and donations at our 7 charity shops.
* Assist the driver to collect and deliver furniture to and from customers’ houses. This might include heavy lifting on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
* Help to load/unload the stock into and from the van.
* Help with directions and finding a parking space.
This role would suit you if you prefer to be up and about. If you have the ability to lift/carry heavy items, including furniture, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, that would be helpful.
