About the role As a Volunteer Support Officer for Employer Supported Volunteering you will work closely with Suffolk VCFSEs and local businesses to match individuals and groups of employees with volunteering opportunities to support communities. The role will include supporting the VCFSE sector to develop and source employer volunteer activities, organisational support and guidance, plus supporting them to secure the necessary resources to operate successfully. You will achieve this, through delivering a range of training and events, designing and distributing resources and creating tailored support packages to meet varying needs. This role will suit you if you have a passion for the VCFSE Sector and can champion building capacity, efficiency, and sustainability. You will be an excellent communicator at all levels and able to write and speak persuasively to a diverse range of groups. You will need to be driven, pro-active, flexible and resourceful as the role can have a busy and varied workload. You should also be confident working independently as well as having the ability to be a good team player. You will be a proactive individual with a can-do attitude and appetite for learning.
