Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will assist with various tasks related to food preparation, serving, and catering, contributing to the overall hospitality environment of our establishment.
Duties
* Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
* Support catering operations by setting up and breaking down event spaces as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food offerings.
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
* Assist with barista duties when required, preparing coffee and other beverages to high standards.
* Uphold a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Experience in catering or serving roles would be advantageous.
* Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial.
* Barista experience is a plus for those interested in beverage service.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are crucial.
