Our planning and scheduling team are an integral part of the successful running of our Asset Management contract that we deliver to Teign Housing. We are looking for a new member to join this high-achieving team.
As a Planner/Scheduler, you will be part of a small, friendly, and efficient team based in Newton Abbot. You will enjoy working within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, working to SLAs and KPIs, with the goal of providing the best housing repairs service to our customers, the residents of Teign Housing.

The Planner/Scheduler role
You will handle calls and emails regarding the organisation and booking of residential repairs and minor refurbishments on Teign Housing properties. You will also make outbound calls to residents to schedule essential compliance testing (gas, mechanical, electrical works). You will liaise with residents and operational trade teams to ensure excellent service delivery. Your responsibilities include:
* Managing operative diaries using our scheduling system to ensure efficient work completion within SLAs, full operative utilization, and excellent customer service
* Handling emergencies and exceptions to deliver the most appropriate service
* Acting as the first point of contact for customers and trade operatives to resolve issues promptly
* Maintaining accurate notes for each job/task to support performance tracking
What you will bring as a Planner/Scheduler
* Experience in planning/scheduling, ideally in a fast-paced environment with high-volume telephone communication; housing repairs background is advantageous
* Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems and follow processes
* Excellent communication skills, with decision-making and ownership qualities
* Determination, resilience, motivation to achieve targets, and pride in independent and team results
