Our Lifestyle Medicine Centre partners with expert health professionals to provide evidence-based resources that help prevent and manage disease through lifestyle interventions. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our caring and mission-driven team. This role provides high-quality reception and administrative support to patients and staff, ensuring efficient appointment scheduling, billing, and patient record management while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and manage reception duties with warmth and professionalism. Schedule appointments, maintain accurate patient records, and process billing. Support clinicians by confirming bookings and preparing documentation. Communicate clearly and courteously with patients and staff. Assist with housekeeping and purchasing tasks as required. Contribute to a positive, patient-focused workplace culture aligned with our values. Selection Criteria Supportive of the values, belief and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Commitment to the mission of the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre and Adventist Health. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and attention to detail. Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team and within an interdisciplinary healthcare model. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical patient management software (e.g., Best Practice). Unrestricted eligibility to work in Australia. Medical Terminology certificate and understanding of lifestyle medicine principles would be desirable. Why Join Us?
