Electrical Design Engineer
12-Month Contract | £35/hr PAYE or £47.24 via umbrella (Inside IR35) | 3–4 Days Onsite
You will work within a collaborative, model-based engineering environment, contributing to the design and integration of electrical systems that form part of a safe, certifiable and reliable air vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver electrical design activities to cost, quality and schedule
2. Produce and review technical deliverables in line with engineering and quality standards
3. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support programme objectives
4. Ensure designs consider safety, manufacturability, cost and in-service support
5. Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering tools and processes
Knowledge & Experience
6. Experience using CATIA V5, including Electrical Workbench
7. Background in electrical design within a complex engineering environment
Qualifications
8. Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience (expected)
Working Pattern
9. 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday
10. Hybrid working: 3–4 days per week
