About the Role:
Link3 Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable QTS English Teacher to work on a supply basis across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Northamptonshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who enjoys variety, values positive relationships with students, and can confidently lead learning in the English classroom.
As a Supply English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, and ensure continuity of education for students in the absence of their regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment that supports learning
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
* Adapt quickly to different school environments while maintaining professionalism and consistency
* Support students to develop their literacy, analytical and communication skills
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have a subject specialism in English
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
* Have previous experience teaching in secondary school settings
* Be flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning

Essential Requirements
All applicants must have:
* A valid Right to Work in the UK (verified as part of our safeguarding checks)
* An Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) or registration on the Update Service
* Minimum GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) for roles below Cover Supervisor level, with evidence provided
