Summary and purpose of the role:
The core purpose of Product Management is to ensure sustainable success by delivering products that meet and exceed customer expectations. This involves:
1. Differentiation: Products and services must be better, simpler, more reliable, and more economical than competitors to create clear market advantages.
2. Technology Leadership: Drive innovation to provide tangible benefits in function, application, and service.
3. Value Proposition: Define and manage the best offering for target markets, including portfolio strategy, roadmap, value-added services, and pricing.

5. Market Alignment: Act as the “glue” between product development and market needs.
Drive effective marketing communications for the Polatis Business Unit by:
6. Strategic Alignment: Manage the Polatis marketing communication plan in line with HUBER+SUHNER COM and IND strategies.
7. Content & Collateral: Create and maintain compelling product and sales materials, website content, and social media presence to strengthen brand visibility.
8. Campaign Execution: Plan and deliver product launches, trade events, and promotional initiatives globally.
9. Positioning & Messaging: Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Business Development to refine value propositions and ensure competitive differentiation.
10. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to corporate design standards and report on marketing KPIs.
Main tasks, duties, authorization limits and deputy functions:
Strategic Marketing Communications
11. Develop and manage the marketing communication plan for the Polatis Business Unit, ensuring alignment with HUBER+SUHNER COM and IND strategies.
12. Define and execute the optimal marketing mix to achieve communication objectives.
13. Prepare and manage the annual marketing communications budget for Polatis BU.
Content Creation and Collateral Management
14. Oversee the creation of sales and product collateral, including presentations, white papers, datasheets, flyers, and promotional materials.
15. Draw on internal resources to generate a continuous stream of relevant content for all channels.
16. Manage and maintain the Polatis marketing material library (informational, promotional, sales, ordering, and imagery).
Digital and Social Media Management
17. Maintain and update the website via third-party support; manage transition to
18. Draft and schedule social media content for LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter), ensuring regular engagement and compliance with HUBER+SUHNER newsroom standards.
19. Manage and update social media channels, ensuring regular engagement and compliance with HUBER+SUHNER branding guidelines, which supports building internal and external branding of HUBER + SUHNER Polatis.
Event and Campaign Execution
20. Organize Polatis participation in trade shows, conferences, and virtual events, including logistics and demo equipment.
21. Plan and execute global product launches in collaboration with product and market management.
22. Lead Polatis-focused sales promotion initiatives across sales organizations and exhibitions.
Positioning and Messaging
23. Work closely with Business Development, Product Management, and Sales to refine positioning and messaging into compelling value propositions.
24. Ensure Polatis stands out in key markets through differentiated communication strategies.
Compliance and Reporting
25. Ensure all marketing communications adhere to HUBER+SUHNER corporate design standards and brand guidelines.
26. Report monthly on marketing KPIs and campaign performance.
Managing a Technical Author
27. Coordinate with the technical author to ensure timely creation and accuracy of technical documentation, including product datasheets, manuals, and application notes.
28. Provide clear briefs, prioritize tasks, and review outputs for consistency with brand and technical standards.
29. Facilitate collaboration between the technical author, product managers, and engineering teams to maintain high-quality, customer-focused documentation.
