The Dean Close St. Johns School is looking to appoint an inspirational Head of English and Drama to lead two vibrant and high-profile subjects at the heart of school life. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner and leader to shape curriculum, teaching, creativity and performance, while igniting a lifelong love of language, literature and drama. This is a full-time role, starting in September 2026.As Head of English and Drama, you will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for both subjects, ensuring high-quality teaching, ambitious curriculum design and outstanding pupil outcomes.
