The Therapy Lead translates plans and therapy goals defined by a range of therapists into the rehabilitation pathway, serving as a vital link between the therapy team and services for the people we support. Therapy includes occupational therapy, physical therapy, behaviour therapy, speech and language, music and drama, as well as clinical competence and management training.
The role requires experience and values aligned with the service ethos, including a willingness to complete an apprenticeship or diploma as part of continuous professional development and to undertake training for all aspects of therapy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, resilience, flexibility and a positive approach are essential.
Working conditions: the rota is Monday to Sunday with flexibility for early, late, night shifts, and bank holidays. Shift times include 7:30 am–2:30 pm, 2:30 pm–9:30 pm, and 9:30 pm–7:30 am.
Location: Wallsend.
Salary: £28,489.50 per annum.
