Social Worker / Occupational Therapist Who You Are You hold a degree with a relevant professional qualification in Social Work or Occupational Therapy and are registered with HCPC. You possess strong literacy, numeracy, interpersonal, and IT skills. With a deep understanding of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other relevant legislation, you demonstrate a commitment to excellent adult social care and customer service. Your experience includes crafting significant working relationships within local authorities and dealing with complex caseloads effectively. You actively promote equality and diversity, focus on personal and team development, and demonstrate leadership in your role. What the Job Involves You will be responsible for managing a service caseload, which includes complex needs customers, providing professional supervision, ensuring compliance with the professional code of conduct, fulfilling statutory duties for adults, and maintaining continuous professional development. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external partners, safeguarding, commissioning, and coordinating delivery of services, and actively participating in performance management and service improvement activities. You will support the Team Leader and, when required, deputize for them.
