Job Description
AtkinsRéalis Nuclear has been operating for over 40 years with operations based in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, and are fully engaged in the development of the next generation of nuclear power. AtkinsRéalis is also currently embarked on an exciting journey to become the global leader in providing Reactor Decommissioning and Radioactive Waste Management Services.
It’s a stimulating time for the decommissioning sector as there is a growing sense of responsibility and investment for the safe dismantling and disposal of ageing nuclear reactors and management of the UK’s significant inventory of nuclear legacy wastes.
Our Reactor Operations and Decommissioning team (based at Bristol, Warrington and Glasgow) is a diverse group of engineers and scientists, well-placed geographically to meet these challenges, including the ongoing decommissioning of the Scottish reactor fleet.
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting experienced engineers and scientists as Senior Waste and Decommissioning Consultants. The role is flexible across the UK with hybrid working arrangements.
We seek individuals willing to take responsibility and contribute to project success. We value behaviors and shared values such as collaboration, transparency, resilience, and trust. We promote diversity and inclusion to strengthen our team and approach challenges with collective brilliance.
