We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for providing quality services to adults with learning disabilities to join our team at our registered care home in Ryde, Isle of Wight as a Learning Disability Worker.
This is a part-time, permanent role working on a rota basis (including weekends and sleep-ins), 30 hours a week.
As a Learning Disability Worker, youll have a hands-on approach to caring for our residents, working as part of a team to support people to maintain independence and have better opportunities to get involved within the local community. This is a truly rewarding role where youll play many parts within our residents lives.
What you'll have:
* Ability to listen and communicate effectively
* Empathy, compassion and patience
* Good written communication and numeracy skills
* Basic IT skills
* Able to work both as part of a team and also unsupervised
