Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our Facilities team. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating PPM activities across our contracts to ensure efficient service delivery, compliance and KPI's are achieved.
Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and update planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules in line with statutory requirements and company standards.
* Plan and prioritise maintenance activities, coordinating with engineering and supply chain partners.
* Ensure all maintenance works are scheduled in the CAFM system, with accurate job details, resources, and timelines.
* Analyse maintenance history and asset performance to optimise scheduling and reduce downtime.
* Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules, escalating risks or delays to the Operations Manager.
* Review completed maintenance job cards, update records, ensure accuracy and meet KPIs for service delivery.
* Assist in maintaining PPM Planners by ensuring costings and maintenance resource requirements are accurate.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a maintenance planning or scheduling role, ideally within Facilities Management or a similar environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Knowledge of PPM scheduling, maintenance planning principles. Knowledge of asset management would also be advantageous
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* IT literate with strong working knowledge of MS Office suite and CAFM systems.
* Ability to analyse data and maintenance trends to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Ability and willingness to adapt and learn in an ever changing environment.
Desirable
* Experience in contractor management.
* Understanding of statutory compliance requirements in line with SFG20 Principles.
* Experience in data-driven maintenance planning, including predictive and condition-based maintenance.

* £32,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)

Work Location: Head Office in East Kilbride or Stewarton office
