Job Title: Fabrication Supervisor
Location: Leicester
Salary: £35,000 to 45,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:
Our client islooking to appoint a hands-on and experienced Fabrication Shop Foreman to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day running of our fabrication department. This is a key leadership role that will ensure projects are delivered on time, to spec, and in line with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise a team of welders, fabricators, and general operatives on the shop floor
* Allocate work to ensure daily and weekly production targets are met
* Ensure all jobs are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule
* Read and interpret fabrication drawings and offer technical support where needed
* Carry out in-process quality checks to ensure finished work meets specifications
* Monitor staff performance and provide training and development where appropriate
* Maintain a safe and well-organised working environment in line with HSE guidelines
* Liaise closely with production planners, engineers, and management to resolve issues and keep work flowing
* Drive improvements in productivity, quality, and efficiency across the department
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within a metal fabrication environment
* Strong working knowledge of welding and fabrication processes (MIG Welding, Robot Welding, Fabrication, Folding etc.)
* Ability to read engineering drawings and lead by example in a hands-on role
* Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures
* Comfortable with problem-solving and working to deadlines
Preferred:
* Forklift licence
* NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding or equivalent
