We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in their career or a Band 6 Occupational Therapist at Gledholt Mews and Coach House.
Gledholt Mews and Coach House is our enhanced community residential service for adults with mental health needs or learning disabilities, who may have behaviors that challenge and associated complex needs.
Gledholt Mews is a nurse-led service with a multidisciplinary team supporting residents throughout their journey. The team includes a consultant psychologist, psychology assistant, occupational therapist, occupational therapy assistant, activity coordinators, nurses, and a speech and language therapist. We adapt to the changing needs of our residents, ensuring safety and supporting independence.
We utilize a unique care pathway called the Visual Discharge Plan (VDP), which involves collaboration between the individual, their family, the MDT, and staff, placing the resident at the center of their care and discharge planning from admission.
The facility is divided into two areas: the main house with seven en-suite bedrooms, communal lounges, and kitchens on each floor, and the coach house with two bedrooms, offering residents options for shared or private space. External gardens provide space for outdoor activities and social gatherings.
