Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant!
Location: Primary Schools across Bristol
Start Date: September 2025 (or as soon as possible)
Hours: Full-time and part-time roles available
Contract Type: Fixed-term and permanent positions
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Do you thrive in a nurturing, inclusive, and dynamic school environment? We are looking for compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated teams across a number of welcoming primary schools in Bristol.
Your new role
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
* Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
* Foster a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Support pupils with communication, sensory, emotional, and behavioural needs
* Assist with classroom organisation, resources, and inclusive learning activities
What you'll need to succeed
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or other setting) is highly desirable
* A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage, but not essential
