Located in DN14, Whitley
Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Hours: 37.5 hours paid per week
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm contract
Our client is currently looking for an Office Administrator to join the team.
Please note – this isn’t your stereotypical office job – it is an office based on an industrial yard.
You MUST also drive due to location; there is no public transport nor path routes for a bicycle.
Duties:
* Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct them appropriately
* Signposting any emails or calls to directors or other team members as appropriate
* Organise and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of information
* Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
* Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
* Support invoicing, billing, and other financial administrative tasks where required
* Handle general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and ordering office supplies
* Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency
Experience needed:
* Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
* Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Workspace
* Excellent administrative experience with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Good phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
* Previous industry experience preferred but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Happy to complete any additional tasks needed
