Location: Blackpool (fully office-based)
Hours/ Days: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Our client, as a growing business, has a fantastic new job opportunity for an Accounts Assistant, to support the Accounts Manager to proactively deliver an exceptional business accounting and payroll.
The role:
· Processing supplier invoices.
· Allocating invoices against purchase orders.
· Raising any invoice queries with suppliers.
· Certifying subcontractor applications for payment with respective project managers.
· Processing & paying labour only subcontractor invoices on weekly basis.
· Issuing on site labour timesheets weekly to project managers for approval.
· Liaising with clients and the team to ensure all required information is gathered.
· Support with processing the monthly payroll.
The person:
1. Previous experience in an accounts/ payroll assistant role or similar.
2. Great systems experience ideally including an accounts/ payroll system.
3. Confident user of MS Office and IT systems.
4. Strong numeracy skills.
5. Ability to work at pace, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
6. Highly organised and able to plan and manage own workload.
