Our client is a well-established charity dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those they support. They are now seeking a Philanthropy Officer to strengthen relationships with corporate partners, donors, and supporters, ensuring all fundraising and engagement activity is delivered to the highest standard.
💥 As a Philanthropy Officer, you will:
* Provide excellent customer service to supporters, partners, and donors via phone, email, and in person
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate partners and individual donors
* Support the planning and delivery of philanthropy campaigns, events, and partnerships
* Maintain accurate records on the fundraising database, ensuring information is up to date and compliant
* Conduct research to identify new giving opportunities and prepare reports or proposals
* Support the philanthropy team with administrative tasks, planning, and coordination
* Assist in meeting income generation targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
* Travel within the UK as required to attend meetings, events, or donor visits
💥 What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service both face to face and remotely
* Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels
* A good understanding of developing and managing corporate or individual giving partnerships
* Confident in managing databases and maintaining accurate supporter records
* Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
* Demonstrable ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Competent IT user with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases
* Strong research skills with the ability to gather and report relevant information
* Willingness to travel within the UK during business hours when required
