Overview

At our British Gypsum manufacturing facility in Sherburn we're looking for an Electrical Engineer to be responsible for all electrical equipment and systems across the site as well as manage our electrical maintenance team.
Responsibilities
* Lead electrical maintenance across the site and manage the electrical maintenance team.
* Work with performance teams to ensure site reliability and timely delivery for customers.
* Lead World Class Manufacturing activities and project manage Continuous Improvement opportunities.
* Ensure effective maintenance planning; liaise with production, SLT and other stakeholders to agree shutdown plans and manage resources.
* Promote safety; own and drive ongoing development of the team through planning training and development.
Qualifications and experience
* Qualified ideally to degree level, however all routes to qualification will be considered.
* A strong understanding and experience in managing and ensuring safety in industrial environments.
* Practical electrical engineering experience in a comparable environment.
* Experience in managing others, including performance management, appraisals, objective setting, training and development plans.
* Project management and excellent planning skills.
* Excellent communication and the ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
* Knowledge and experience using WCM and CI methodologies.
