The ideal candidate will be someone who can fill both our Pupil Support Assistant post and our Primary School Support Assistant post, working a total of 18.5 hours per week during Term-time. About the Pupil Support Assistant Role This Pupil Support Assistant role entails supporting children's learning and wellbeing. This will include working with children from P1-P7, on a 1-1 basis or with small groups or in a whole-class setting. About the Primary School Support Assistant Role This Primary School Support Assistant role entails supporting children's wellbeing. This will include working lunchtime supervision and playground supervision and also a few hours in the school office on a Friday morning. Skills & Experience Required We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and motivated person to join our team at Fossoway Primary School. Although there are clear directions for children's learning at tasks, you should be able to use your initiative to work with learners in a motivating and engaging way. You should feel confident in working with children with additional support needs, and be able to quickly develop positive relationships with children, identifying when they might need some support.
