An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our team and provide effective recruitment and human resources support for doctors within the Trust.
The Medical Workforce Office ensures timely recruitment of medical staff of all grades, obtains locum cover, and provides a general HR service for doctors employed by the Trust.
Ideally, we seek experience with medical and dental terms and conditions and/or recruitment experience. However, transferable skills suitable for this role are also welcome. Excellent communication, methodical, organised, proactive, strong IT skills and the ability to manage a varied demanding workload are desirable.
We support agile working with a combination of working from home and office-based after an initial training period.
This role offers a chance to learn about medical staffing, employment terms and conditions, and essential administration skills.
Responsibilities
* Greeting visitors to the department
* First point of contact to the department
* Undertaking recruitment checks and assisting with onboarding administration
* Administration support for Medical Workforce Advisors
* Data input using the Electronic Staff Record system (ESR)
* Processing invoices and expenses for payment
* Inputting adverts on the TRAC recruitment system
* Coordinating interview panels for all posts and liaising with the LETB as required
* Managing locum bookings and liaising with internal and external partners
* Managing the Electronic Staff Record system for post requirements
* Maintaining accurate records of status of all posts within remit
* Attending divisional, directorate, specialty and department meetings where appropriate
* Covering for other members of Medical Recruitment as appropriate
* Understanding, supporting and communicating rota changes as required by departments
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Methodical approach with high attention to detail
* Previous experience in HR or recruitment is advantageous, though transferable skills are welcome
* Proficient with IT and common office software
* Ability to handle a varied and demanding workload
