As part of our client's continued growth, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Operative Trainee to join our client's team and develop hands-on skills across multiple areas of our production environment. This is an upskilling role designed to build you into a multi-skilled manufacturing professional. If you're practical, motivated, and keen to learn, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed. What You'll Be Learning & Doing as a Manufacturing Operative Trainee: Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) (training provided if required) Assisting with and learning pyramid rolling processes Operating machinery including: Press Brake Other fabrication and production equipment Developing hands-on welding skills and techniques Reading and working from technical drawings Supporting general manufacturing and fabrication activities Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality What We're Looking For in a Manufacturing Operative Trainee: A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Interest in engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing Good attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team Positive attitude and reliability Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential What's on Offer: Full training across multiple manufacturing disciplines Opportunity to gain recognised certifications (e.g. FLT) Clear development pathway into skilled roles Starting hourly rate of £12.21, until fully skilled and then this will increase.
