Milestone Infrastructure Services is currently recruiting a Project Administrator for our Suffolk Highways contract in Ipswich.
As a Project Administrator, you will be part of our Efficiency and Performance team, responsible for programme management across various workstreams, contract-wide performance management, quality and business improvement, social value, and communications.
Suffolk Highways is a new contract secured by Milestone in 2023 for up to 20 years. We are responsible for delivering highway maintenance and improvement activities to Suffolk County Council.
Your role will help ensure the delivery of high-quality highway services benefiting residents, businesses, and highway users in Suffolk.
Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the Programme Team with updating the Contractor Plan across multiple workstreams and meeting submission deadlines.
2. Communicating with Project Managers to ensure efficient operations and resource utilization to meet outputs, stay within budget, and achieve financial targets.
3. Supporting cyclical teams with data entry into the Contractor Plan, and reporting on performance against contractual KPIs.
4. Attending and recording minutes for internal and key client meetings.
5. Assisting performance teams with monitoring progress and risks, providing daily updates.
6. Collaborating with delivery teams to update programmes with progress information.
Skills & Knowledge:
1. Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
2. Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
3. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
4. High attention to detail for producing quality records.
5. Willingness to learn and adapt to internal systems.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and desirable experience with Microsoft Project.
