As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Seller Compliance & Analyst Lead to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.

Role Overview:

The Seller Compliance & Analyst Lead will serve as the operational backbone of the Marketplace team, ensuring seamless execution of logistics, planning, and operational processes. This role is essential for maintaining organisation and driving efficiency, acting as the glue between internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth Marketplace operations and seller compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Marketplace platforms, and a collaborative mindset to drive operational excellence and business growth. You will report directly to the Marketplace Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the logistics and operational aspects of The Range Marketplace.
2. Manage seller adherence to legal and regulatory compliance requirements, including our trading conditions and policies throughout the seller life cycle.
3. Ensure sellers meet SLA requirements by monitoring and addressing performance standards.
4. Produce and analyse reports giving data insight to guide decision-making.
5. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and operational/compliance documentation to support team initiatives.
6. Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify strategic and commercial opportunities.
7. Identify opportunities for improvement across seller operations and overall Marketplace performance by leveraging data to generate insights and track key performance indicators.
8. Monitor key metrics and processes to ensure operational efficiency and troubleshoot any issues.
9. Track and manage pending or late orders to maintain high service standards.
10. Monitor seller product availability to ensure a consistent and reliable Marketplace experience.
11. Resolve escalated customer care issues related to compliance or operational issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
12. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate technical issues and support cross-functional problem solving.
13. Update and monitor seller delivery services to ensure timely, efficient and accurate fulfilment.
14. Contribute to process improvements by identifying recurring issues or inefficiencies.
15. Manage pricing strategies to remain competitive and drive value and execute with the wider team.
16. Implement margin protection measures.
17. Provide oversight of promotional activities to ensure alignment with commercial goals.
18. Provide data insight to promotional activities to inform strategic decisions.
19. Support and oversee API integration processes to streamline seller systems and workflows.
20. Work with the New Business Lead and Seller Account Management team to resolve recurring operational and compliance issues to improve seller performance metrics.
21. Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure seamless collaboration.
22. Utilise Zendesk to manage support tickets and ensure efficient response times and resolutions.
23. Provide the Marketplace team with pro-active support, offering guidance and assistance in resolving issues, providing data or added assistance where necessary.

Essential & Preferred Skills & Requirements

24. 2+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in ecommerce or marketplace settings.
25. Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
26. Highly confident with Microsoft Excel and capable of working with formulas and graphs.
27. Excellent communication skills, with experience in coordinating cross-functional teams.
28. Familiarity with marketplace logistics and onboarding processes is a plus.
29. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and think critically to solve operational challenges.
30. A professional and respectful team player.
31. Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Position: Permanent, Full-time, In-Office.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.

Location: Plymouth, Devon
