Infrastructure / Projects Solicitor (2–4 PQE) | Edinburgh
A leading UK commercial law firm is seeking a talented solicitor to join its highly regarded Infrastructure Projects team in Edinburgh.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value infrastructure and projects matters across a range of sectors including healthcare, education, energy, transport, waste and public infrastructure. The team advises a broad client base including public sector organisations, funders, developers and private sector clients on projects from inception through to operation and ongoing management.
The role will involve a varied mix of transactional, advisory and operational project work, including:
* Advising on major infrastructure and PPP/PFI-style projects
* Reviewing and drafting key project documentation including construction contracts, DBFM agreements, FM agreements, collateral warranties and direct agreements
* Supporting due diligence exercises on operational projects
* Advising on procurement and contract interpretation issues
* Assisting with operational and works variation agreements

The ideal candidate will:
* Be Scottish qualified with 2–4 years’ PQE
* Have relevant experience in infrastructure, projects, construction or commercial contracts work
* Demonstrate strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills
* Be commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
* Enjoy working closely with clients and as part of a collaborative team
