PK Education welcomes applications to join our excellent Cover Team in a dynamic and rewarding role as a Cover Supervisor. We are seeking confident Cover Supervisors with a passion for education to work on a day-to-day or long-term basis across secondary schools in South of Birmingham.

The role of a Cover Supervisor is diverse and rewarding. You will supervise classes during short-term absences of teachers, manage student behaviour, and support learning activities across the curriculum.
This role is suitable for NQTs, trainee teachers, retired teachers/TAs, those unable to work full-time, people seeking flexible hours, or those wanting to network with new schools.
School details vary, covering different social and economic demographics and Ofsted ratings. Your consultant will match you with suitable schools based on your background and location.
Responsibilities:
* Manage classroom and ensure students stay on task
* Manage behaviour to maintain a constructive environment
* Respond to student questions about processes and procedures
* Handle immediate issues or emergencies per school policies
* Collect and return completed work to teachers
* Report on student behaviour and issues as per school procedures
Additional requirements:
* Reference details will be requested before registration
* A current DBS registered with the Update Service is required; PK Education can assist in obtaining one
