Overview
Registered Mental Health (RMN) / Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) sought to join Cygnet Hospital Woking. You will be expected to work 38.5 hours per week, with days and nights shifts on a rota basis. Shift times: 8:00am to 8:15pm and 8:00pm to 8:15am.
Kahlo Ward is our 11-bed female mental health acute service, providing a safe and stabilising environment for women experiencing an acute episode of mental illness requiring emergency admission. Acorn Ward is our 10-bed female PICU, accepting emergency and crisis admissions. Referrals come from all areas, including acute and prison services. Cygnet Hospital Woking offers a range of secure mental health services for men and women and an Acute service. Cygnet Lodge Woking, our sister hospital nearby, offers high-dependency inpatient rehabilitation and an Acute service for men, expanding our care pathway.

Your day-to-day
* Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
* Work with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
* Attend training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing
* Under NMC guidelines, ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained collaboratively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals
* Administer medicines within healthcare procedures and Healthcare Commission guidelines

You
An experienced RMN/RNLD with a current Pin Number, you’ll have:
Essential
* The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits and demonstrate integrity in your role
* A good understanding of the latest nursing practices
* A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage and reduce risk
* Compassion, resilience and a dedication to empower and support service user independence
Desirable
* The ability to deputise in a clinical lead role
* An interest in leadership, research and assessment
