Description
* Lead and manage procurement projects to achieve value for money and meet organisational objectives.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational priorities.
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high standards of service delivery and performance.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on commercial matters to internal stakeholders.
* Monitor and report on procurement activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
Profile
A successful Lead Commercial Manager should have:
* Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the public sector and using public regulations (PA23).
* Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
* The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and suppliers.
Job Offer
* Competitive daily rate of £600 to £700 INSIDE IR35 (Depending on experience)
