Our Riverside facility sits in the Fresh Pork division and is a sister site to our primary processing facility in Preston, Hull. We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Stock Controller to be responsible for efficient and effective stock taking and all associated paperwork.
Main Duties Include (but not limited to)
* Liaise with Despatch Supervisors regarding customer daily requirements and shorts to enable the fulfilment of all orders.
* Ensuring products are stored correctly while maintaining traceability at all times.
* Ensure shorts sheet is correctly completed and maintained in a timely manner.
* Reporting any issues or shortfalls when required.
* Conduct daily stock checks.
* Assist Despatch team in any areas as and when required.
* Maintain food safety standards at all times.
What We Look For
* Previous experience in a similar role – stock controller, despatch, warehousing, food industry.
* Experience within fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment beneficial but not essential.
* Ability to work in fast-paced environments to daily targets.
* Attention to detail and "right first time" approach.
* Understanding of importance of food hygiene and safety.
