Delivery Driver Multi-drop – (Wakefield)

Daily base rate of £147.50 (including VAT) per route, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
Lightening Logistics is seeking self-employed drivers that have held their FULL license (manual) for a minimum of 3 years with a maximum of 6 points, 23 years of age and above and are Fluent in English. If you are hard-working and able to provide your services in a fast paced, pressurised environment then we are keen to utilise your services!

* Induction days are provided for those without delivery experience.
* Amazon-branded vans equipped with the latest technology (both electric vehicles and diesel)
Responsibilities:
* Adhere to all safety regulations on the road
* Operate a mobile device for GPS and daily records
* Greet and interact with customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude.
* Insurance and fuel included.
* 24/7 driver support hotline for assistance on the road.
* Pre-sorted packages for quick loading.
* Safe working conditions.
* Respectful daily customer interactions.
* Easy and fast application process.
* Flexible working days. MUST be available to work weekends.
* Route duration is 9 hours.
Qualifications
* 23 Years of age or higher is required due to our insurance policy
* Full manual UK/EU Driving License held for a minimum of 3 years
* UK resident for a minimum of 1 years
* No more than 6 penalty points within the past 3 years. NO other endorsements like TT, DA, IN codes.
* Not banned from driving within the past 5 years
* No more than 1 fault claim within the past 2 years
* All non-spent criminal convictions must be referred to underwriters.
* Independent problem solver with good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
* The ability to be able to use stairs to deliver packages
* Able to lift and deliver packages up to 25kgs
* Will be required to use a smart phone with the relevant apps provided
* Drug and alcohol tests will be undertaken and are mandatory
* Weekend work is required
