Your new company
A well-known public sector organisation, based in Stirling, is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Credit Controller. This individual will join the team on a temporary basis for 3 months. The position will be conducted in an office with the hours of work being 36 hours from Monday to Friday. On-site parking is available with great public transport links.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties; focusing on commercial debt, robust in its approach, ledger value of £ million in multiple accounts with a variety of ageing debt.
Experience:
Good bit of Credit Control experience. You should be able to drive Credit Control involvement in new account settings by monitoring early implementation, identifying process improvement potential for existing clients, proactively managing customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, allocating receipts on a system, and resolving disputed accounts. Ensure all customer receipts are made in accordance with payment terms and prepare and distribute month-end reports. Set up new customer accounts to establish good working relationships with all customers.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar position with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also have the ability to communicate clearly with others in both written and verbal formats. The correct individual must also have good attention to detail as this will be required regularly.
