* Examine plans and specifications for compliance with building regulations.
* Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
* Provide expert advice to developers, contractors, and the public.
* Investigate breaches and enforce regulations where necessary.
* Support junior officers and contribute to service improvement.
