Disability Assessor – Cambridge – Earn up to £48,000

Functional Assessor (PIP / WCA)

Salary
* PIP Assessor: £39,500 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 and 12 months.
* WCA Assessor: £42,000 + bonus. £1,000 salary increase after 6 months.
* Up to 10% quality and performance bonus.
Hours
* Full-time (WCA/PIP): Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm
* Part-time (PIP Only):
o 0.6 FTE (3 days)
o 0.8 FTE (4 days)
o Can work any day of the week.

What You'll Do
* Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face-to-face)
* Review medical evidence and daily living impact
* Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
* Make objective recommendations based on evidence
* This is an assessment-focused role — no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training
* 12-week paid training covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, report writing, and support until you work independently.

Qualifications
* Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
* At least 1-year active registration
* Strong communication and report writing skills
* Confident IT and typing skills
