Responsibilities
* Provide 1st line technical support via phone, email, remote access and ticket system.
* Troubleshoot basic hardware, software and network issues across PCs, printers, and servers.
* Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, devices, and applications (e.g. Microsoft 365).
* Support installation and configuration of office printers, routers and PCs on client sites.
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
* Escalate complex issues to 2nd line support or senior engineers as needed.
* Assist with onboarding new clients and internal staff IT setups.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Basic understanding of Windows systems, software and networks.
* Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge through training.
* GCSEs or equivalent; IT-related studies are beneficial but not essential.
* Preferably full current UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills
* Access to your own vehicle for client visits (mileage paid).
* Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and network troubleshooting.
* Any hands-on experience setting up computers, printers or networks (personal, school or voluntary).
* Basic IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA ITF plus, Google IT Support, or equivalent).
* Genuine interest in IT, printers and technology.
